About

Ned Perme has been drawn to the arts from a very young age. Whether in Music, Theatre, Acting or Visual Art, his purpose to express himself has always played a role in his life.
In recent years, his creative expression has centered on color, shapes, shadows, and light. Starting slowly, Ned began to learn how to make these forms work together. Initially exploring pastels, he later shifted his interest to oil painting.

Ned enjoys painting in a variety of styles, including Abstract, Contemporary, and Modern Art. These works are usually on large canvases using vibrant colors applied with heavy paint, employing a combination of brushes and palette knives. Some works even incorporate fused glass into the composition.

Working in Broadcasting for 35 years, Ned has traveled extensively across Arkansas and seen the beauty the Natural State offers. This has led him to create a series of famous Arkansas landmarks, from Little Rock Skylines to The Old Mill and Buffalo National River, among others.
In 2005, Ned, along with several fellow artists, was a founding member of The Art Group Gallery. Now a thriving gallery of working local artists located in Little Rock, Ned continues to learn from and grow with his partners.
