Loren Bartnicke

Born in 1991 (St. Louis, MO) and raised in Little Rock, AR, Loren Bartnicke received her BFA from Mississippi State University. She completed her MFA in Painting at Syracuse University in May 2017, where she received multiple assistantships, scholarships, and the George Vandersluis Award. During her graduate studies, Bartnicke taught undergraduate courses in drawing and painting and worked for Syracuse Stage, where she painted sets for theatre. Currently, she continues her art practice in her home studio in Auburn, NY. Loren Bartnicke has been a member of the Art Group Gallery since 2014. In addition to Little Rock, AR, Bartnicke has exhibited her work in other locations nationally and internationally, including Jackson, MS; Syracuse, NY; New York, NY; and Moscow, Russia.
